This Privacy Policy applies to the QR Scanner & Barcode Reader app for Android devices, created by the Service Provider as a free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS". Effective date: 2024-12-08.
1. Camera Usage
This app uses your device camera solely to scan QR codes and barcodes in real-time. No images, videos, or scan results are stored on our servers or uploaded anywhere. All processing happens entirely on your device.
2. Information We Collect
The app may automatically collect limited technical information to support third-party services, including your device's IP address, operating system version, pages/screens visited within the app, time and date of use, and time spent in the app. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, precise location, or any other personally identifiable information.
3. Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app (e.g. which features are used, session duration). We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix app crashes. These services collect anonymous, aggregated usage data and crash diagnostics. No personally identifiable information is linked to this data.
